Floreat Project
“WOW… BEAUTIFULLY DONE”
The Client approached us after getting referred by a Landscaping company. From the outset we realised that she wanted something special, timeless but also secure, private with low maintenance.
As with most of our custom made fencing – we’re happy to discuss how & what is needed to fabricate and install to a client’s specific requirements. Although we do not mind making suggestions on fencing styles and colours, the client knew what she wanted. She blended the front ‘older style’ property, with the new more modern rear property perfectly with a well-balanced “less is more” approach.
Hi-Lo Sentinel Spear was chosen for the side- and rear-perimeter giving an open, clean and fresh looking. For the dividing fence (between the two properties) the client decided on the more modern horizontal Smart wood cedar slat fencing. Slats are very versatile in providing privacy and security that looks great with the added benefit of very low maintenance. It can also suit modern and older style homes.
With our suggestion to use the Interpon D1000 powder coating colour: “Stormfront” to match the rear property door/window frames in conjunction with the aluminium cedar slats – a perfect marriage was created. Time frame was worked out very carefully to suit the landscaping and other trades. It was imperative to have the correct sequence and on this type of project we had to plan it with care. We fabricated and powder coated according to the allowed time-frame and had the fencing ready for installation 2 days after the Limestone pillars were built.
The pouring of the exposed aggregate driveway took place the following day and again within a few days we installed the sliding gate track and Smartwood sliding gate. Because we also supplied and installed the gate automation we managed to get our automation expert on site the very next day.
The client added a few extras: programming the sliding gate to work off the garage door remote; a digital keypad – allowing family & friends access without the use of a remote control (and also… to keep the ‘mother in-law’ out when needed…) The end result… she was overjoyed… The client invited Dan and our installer for a cold beer the day the installation was completed.
One thing we always strive for is the “wow factor” and with the client we left with this satisfaction and the final words: “Wow what a fantastic experience and beautiful job… well done! Sue, from us here at Fencespot thanks for the nice feedback. We really enjoyed doing your project and appreciate your business.
We know you’ll have years of compliments from the friends, family and neighbors.
The Fencespot Team.
