Allara, Eglinton North Project

A huge tract of land in the suburb of Eglinton has been procured by the Satterley group for a new housing estate which they have named Allara.

Over the last 30 years Satterleys have set the highest standard in presentation of their estates with an emphasis on street appeal and functionality. During the design stage with Emerge a number of fencing companies submitted designs and samples for approval by the developers. Our Blade Picket design that we have since named Allara was selected for the cottage lots.

This design is quite different from most other styles offencing. Each aluminium blade has a round hole machined near the top and the bottom through which a round rail has been positioned and welded.

Once a section of the walls was completed we measured and commenced manufacture of the panels to suit each lot. This enabled us to have continuous production of the fence which we installed it as it came back from the powdercoater. The panels were specifically made to suit each wall so thatthey were evenly balanced in size. While this takes a little more effort than making standard sized panels, the look is far superior and compliments the value of the landscaping.

During construction there were a number of wall changes that required changes to our measurements. We remade the panels to suit the new sizes and were able to utilise the others in following stages. So far we have completed stages 1 & 2 plus the display village.

From the client:

“Everything flowed really well and work was completed within our schedule. We are very happy with the quality of the fence and will continue to employ Fencespot on our projects.”
